Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe

Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by your guide and transferred to your accommodation.
Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the Botanical Gardens for birdwatching or simply relax after your flight.

Day 2 – Journey to Sipi Falls

After breakfast, begin your adventure with a drive towards Jinja, where you will stop at the Source of the Nile for lunch. Continue to the Sipi region, famous for its beautiful waterfalls and coffee farms.

Overnight: Home of Friends / Lacam Lodge

 

Day 3 – Sipi Falls & Coffee Experience

Hike through lush hillsides to visit the three stunning Sipi Falls. After lunch, visit a local coffee plantation to learn about traditional Arabica coffee cultivation and taste freshly brewed Ugandan coffee.
End the day with a peaceful sunset walk and dinner at your lodge.

 

Day 4 – Travel to Moroto via Pian Upe

Today’s journey takes you through the wild landscapes of Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve, where you may encounter Antelopes, Zebras, Giraffes, and, if lucky, even Cheetahs. Continue to Moroto, located in the northeastern Karamoja region.

Day 5 – Mount Moroto & Karamojong Culture

After breakfast, enjoy a hike on Mount Moroto, followed by an authentic Karamojong community visit. Learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life in this fascinating region.

 

Day 6 – Into the Wilderness of Kidepo Valley

Travel north to Kidepo Valley National Park, Uganda’s most remote and pristine park.
The journey offers vast savannah views and authentic African wilderness scenery.

Day 7 – Game Drives in Kidepo Valley

Spend the day exploring Kidepo Valley National Park on morning and evening game drives.
Watch for Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, and Giraffes roaming across the savannah. The untouched wilderness makes Kidepo one of Uganda’s top safari highlights.

Day 8 – Journey to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, travel southwest towards Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected area. Enjoy scenic views along the way as the landscape changes dramatically.

Day 9 – Game Drive & Murchison Falls Experience

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in search of Lions, Leopards, Elephants, and other wildlife.
In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Nile River to the base of the powerful Murchison Falls, followed by a short hike to the top for spectacular views.

 

Day 10 – Travel to Kibale Forest National Park

Continue to Kibale Forest, home to 13 species of primates and known as the “Primate Capital of the World.” Enjoy the scenic journey and relax at your lodge surrounded by lush forest.

Day 11 – Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp Walk

Today you will go Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest — an exciting encounter with our closest relatives.
In the afternoon, take a guided nature walk through Bigodi Wetland, known for its monkeys and diverse birdlife.

 

Day 12 – Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Spend the afternoon relaxing at your lodge, followed by an evening game drive where nocturnal wildlife begins to stir.

Day 13 – Game Drive & Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

In the morning, embark on a game drive across the Kasenyi plains to spot Lions, Elephants, and Buffaloes.
After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its concentration of Hippos, Crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 14 – To Bwindi via Ishasha

Travel south through the Ishasha sector, known for the rare Tree-Climbing Lions.
Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home of the endangered Mountain Gorillas.

Day 15 – Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Today is the highlight of your safari — the unforgettable Mountain Gorilla Trekking.
After a briefing, head into the dense rainforest in search of a Gorilla family.
Spending one hour with these gentle giants is an emotional and life-changing experience.

 

Day 16 – Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, travel to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most beautiful lakes. Relax at the lake or take a leisurely walk through nearby villages.

Day 17 – Explore the Islands of Lake Bunyonyi

Take a boat tour across Lake Bunyonyi, visiting its unique islands such as Punishment Island, Bushara Island, and Upside-Down Island.
Learn about local legends, spot water birds, and enjoy a picnic surrounded by scenic hills.

 

Day 18 – Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Travel to Lake Mburo National Park for an evening game drive or boat trip.
The park is home to Zebras, Impalas, Elands, and a variety of bird species.

Day 19 – Game Drive & Equator Stop

After a morning game drive in Lake Mburo, continue your journey back towards Entebbe, stopping at the Equator line for lunch and photo opportunities.

 

Day 20 – Mabamba Swamp & Departure

Your last day begins with a visit to Mabamba Swamp, one of the best places to spot the rare Shoebill Stork.
After the excursion, you’ll be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure — or back to your accommodation if you extend your stay.
