On this Safari you will get to see the source of the River Nile, the longest river in Africa.

You will also visit Mount Elgon in the East of Uganda, where you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful scenery of this mountainous area. You will visit the Sipi Falls and learn all about the best Arabica coffee from Uganda.

After exploring the mountain you will travel to Kidepo Valley National Park, where you will encounter lots of wildlife. Kidepo Valley National Park is one of Ugandas most unique National Parks.

After the game drives in Kidepo Valley National Park, you can travel back to Entebbe or your next destination, which can be another National Park, such as Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 1:

 

After your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up at the airport and brought to your accommodation.

Depending on your arrival time you might have a chance to visit the Botanical Gardens in Entebbe or visit the Mabamba Swamp for a bird-watching tour.

Day 2:

After an early breakfast, you will travel to Jinja for a lunch break and explore the Source of the River Nile.

Proceed your journey to Sipi on the slopes of Mount Elgon. Have Dinner at the Lodge and relax after the long journey.

Day 3:

Hiking to the 3 Sipi Falls, whereby the route will be individually adjusted to your preference. With the Sipi Falls hike you can easily add a coffee plantation tour, where you will learn everything about Arabica coffee grown on Mount Elgon. The coffee tour ends with coffee tasting. In the evening you will visit the Viewpoint for the best sunset in Sipi.

It is possible to do Abseiling / Rappelling at the Sipi Waterfall with a dropoff of 100 meters, at an extra cost. This adventure is perfect for the real adrenaline rush and if you love doing something special, this is one for you.

Day 4:

 

After early breakfast, you will depart from Sipi traveling to Kidepo Valley National Park, Uganda’s unique National Park. Lunch break in Moroto.
After the long journey and arrival at the Lodge, you will have dinner and relax.

 

Day 5:

Game Drive in the morning with wildlife spotting. Later in the afternoon, you will have another game drive till the evening hours. After the game drive you will return to the Lodge, relax, and have dinner.

 

Day 6:

Travel back to Kampala, Entebbe, or to the next destination if you intend to spend more days in Uganda or wish to add another National Park.

Optional it is possible to add one more day and visit Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve for another game drive or two. The Safari will then be 7 days.
